3G join IBEC Retail Skillnet Network

3G-logo.gif3G, the telecommunications company, are the latest company to have joined the IBEC Retail Skillnet network. 3G is a subsidiary of the Sigma Wireless Group, which was established in 1991. The Sigma Wireless Group is considered as the leading, independently owned Irish company specialising in the mobile communications industry.

Ms. Monica Gleeson, H.R manager, Sigma Wireless, represents 3G on the National Steering Group.

Ms.Gleeson said that she was very impressed with the Occupational Qualifications programme and was delighted to join the Network. She also added that she believes that Retail Occupational Qualifications will “support and compliment existing structures and staff training within 3G”. 3G-Cork-shop-interior1.jpg

Occupational Qualifications will be piloted initially in six 3G stores, with National roll out in their stores, throughout the country, planned for the near future.

The Sigma Wireless representative, Mr. Alan Mulvey, was warmly welcomed by IBEC Retail Skillnets National Co-ordinator, Mr. Sean Carlin, and other Network members at the recent meeting in Dublin.
