Network Members

IBEC Retail Skillnet a large number of Network members representing a broad cross section of the retail sector in Ireland. These members are drawn from every corner of the country and work in different retail areas such as: Pharmacy, Grocery, Fashion, Footwear, Furnishings, Agri Co-operatives, Booksellers, Department stores and Small Independents.

Network members are encouraged to interact, co-operate and exchange information for the benefit of all the Retail stores involved in the Network.

IBEC Retail Skillnet have organised a Retail Steering Committee to represent the interests of all of the Network members. The Committee is representative of the retail sector in general. They meet regularly to discuss and direct policy and strategy.

The Steering committee is elected every 2 years and the Chairmanship of the committee is rotated at this time.

Any input from Network members is voiced at the Steering committee meetings and issues such as price, regional representation and development of new National Retail modules are addressed regularly.

 

Retail Steering Committee 

The Retail Steering Committee work closely with the IBEC Retail Skillnet National Co-ordinator in the provision of Retail Occupational Qualifications throughout the country. The current Retail Steering Committee is made up of the following members:
