IBEC Retail Skillnet offer employees the opportunity to gain Nationally and Internationally recognised qualifications in Retail. These qualifications are certified by the Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC) and are recognised as the National Standard for Retail.
An Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, described these qualifications as “A major milestone for retailing”.

How the Training can Benefit You
Retail Occupational Qualifications cover a range of disciplines within the retail sector, ranging from Retail Customer Service to Retail Merchandising and many more. For each qualification successfully completed you shall receive a FETAC Level 5 Certificate.
These qualifications have successfully changed the image of retailing from “a job in a shop” to “a career in retailing”.
